Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my Dad,  my Father-in-law, and my husband.  You are all wonderful fathers and I am so thankful for you!  We went to the Fort Worth Cats baseball game with the Parkder side of the family to celebrate Father's Day.  Wyatt got to go throw the ball on the field briefly before the game started (I didn't get a picture because we got there when they were having people get off the field - so they only got about a minute to throw).  After the game Wyatt got to run the bases.  Since the game Wyatt has attempted to sign his baseball tee and a ball ("like Dodger signed the baseballs").  It was a great Father's Day.

Mom got Helen to take a nap like that - so funny.

Not a good picture - but that is Wyatt out there around second base.

Earth Day

Well, this post, like all of mine lately, is extremely late.  But, we can still enjoy it.  For Earth Day we went to Homestead Farms again this year.  Several other moms from Legacy went too.  We enjoyed touring the farm and taking a tractor ride together.

Getting Joel and Wyatt to have their heads in the holes at the same time was quite a feet.  Looking and smiling together would have been too much to ask!

Wyatt petting the chicks.  The man pictured is one of the owners I believe.

Pretending to drive a tractor is always fun.

Helping Mama carry the camera

In this barn Wyatt had fun feeding the goats and sliding around and climbing on the hay.
Not pictured - me wearing Helen.  I think she slept most of the trip.  Did you notice Wyatt's camo shirt and carhart overalls?  I had to dress him for the farm and he picked the camo shirt to go with the overalls.  Another successful Earth Day at Homestead Farms.  This one was absolutely packed (although you can't really tell from the pictures - I try to only photograph kids I know).

Fishing with Pawpaw

Helen's first boat trip.  She isn't too fond of the life jacket...I wouldn't be either.

Fishing with Daddy

We went to the lakehouse at Cedar Creek lake a few times this summer.  It is one of Wyatt's absolute favorite places.  Helen seems to like it too - she gets lots of attention from Grandma and she sleeps pretty well at the lake.  (I think the white noise from the window AC unit helps with the sleep).  Uncle Bret went with us for Memorial Day weekend.  We went down for the Fourth of July and Labor Day (not pictured yet).  The lake has gotten lower and lower all summer but we were still able to have some fun fishing, tubing, and swimming.  Glad to have so many fun memories with Grandma and Pawpaw down at the lake.
